Dr. Varshil Shah is a compassionate and dedicated Consultant Pediatrician and Intensivist specializing in Pediatric Hemato-Oncology and critical care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Jaslok Hospital & Research Centre, Mumbai, India. With extensive medical expertise, Dr. Shah is committed to delivering exceptional care, crafting personalized assessment and treatment plans, maintaining precise progress records, and providing comprehensive patient education and counseling.

Dr. Shah currently serves as an Intensivist in the NICU and PICU at Jaslok Hospital & Research Centre, Mumbai, a role he has held since December 2022.
His prior experience includes serving as a Senior Resident-Fellow in Pediatric Hematology, Oncology & Bone Marrow Transplant and Senior Resident in Pediatrics at LTMMC & LTMGH, Sion, Mumbai, as well as a Senior Resident at Jaslok Hospital. He earned his DNB in Pediatrics from Jaslok Hospital and an MBBS from RCSM Government Medical College, Kolhapur. Dr. Shah is registered with the Maharashtra Medical Council, with additional qualifications in DNB Pediatrics. An active contributor to the medical community, Dr. Shah has presented rare cases and research at esteemed conferences, including the National Conference of Pediatric Rheumatology, West Zone Pedicon, and Hepaticon.
His work has been published in prestigious journals such as the British Medical Journal and the Pediatric Hematology Oncology Journal. He has also been honored with the prestigious Jaslok Achiever’s Award three times during his residency.
